Dermaplaning (Add-On)
At ODA Skin Clinic, we always carefully assess the skin on the day of the treatment. We only recommend treatments that we believe actually contribute to your skin goals and skin health.
Although dermaplaning is a popular treatment, we do not offer it as a standalone treatment as standard. Based on our expertise, we believe that the combination of various treatment techniques ensures the most beautiful and long-lasting skin improvement. Therefore, dermaplaning is often integrated into a personalized treatment, tailored to what your skin needs at that moment.
What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation treatment in which dead skin cells, superficial downy hairs (vellus hair), and accumulated impurities are gently removed from the skin using a sterile surgical blade.
As a result, the skin immediately feels smoother and acquires a fresh, refined glow.
The benefits of dermaplaning:
✓ Removes dead skin cells
✓ Removes downy hairs (peach fuzz)
✓ Ensures a smoother skin texture
✓ Instantly gives the skin more glow
✓ Supports a more even make-up application
✓ Improves the absorption of skincare products
✓ Can help with clogged pores
✓ Softens fine lines and dull skin condition

When is dermaplaning less suitable?
Dermaplaning is not the most suitable choice for every skin type or condition. For the skin conditions listed below, we often recommend an alternative treatment plan that better meets the skin's needs:
✓ Active acne
✓ Eczema
✓ Psoriasis
✓ Rosacea
✓ Irritated, inflamed, or very sensitive skin
Our skin therapist therefore always assesses which treatment is most suitable for your skin at that moment. Sometimes, during the consultation, it becomes apparent that another form of treatment will yield better results and skin improvement than dermaplaning alone.
Available as an Add-On for
✓ Chemical Peel (Vitamin C Peel only)
